Kenny is a 2008 United Arts Council grant recipient! This is in order to complete his upcoming children's CD. Thank you United Arts Council!
Several music projects are currently in the works: a children's CD, gigs with vocalist Kathy Fabrizio, solo gigs, songwriting for a cultural arts concept to take to the schools, etc.

In December '07 he recorded some more songs for his upcoming children's CD at Evenform Studio in Raleigh.
Hey! Check out video clips of Kenny's 1980s band "the Dayroom Monitors" at www.youtube.com! Once there, do a search for "Dayroom Monitors". There are 2 clips: one from 1985 performing the song "Two Hours" at the Brewery in Raleigh (the audio is not great, but check out the hair!); and the other is from their reunion gig in 2001 (?), which is interspersed w/ interviews w/ fans/friends. Kenny's baseball song, "Ernie Shore" has been released on "Diamond Cuts IX", the latest volume in a series of of baseball song compilations. Also on the CD: George Winston, John McCutcheon, Christine Lavin, Chuck Brodsky, etc. The album is a fundraiser for the non-profit agency, Hungry for Music, helping low income children with access to music education.
Kenny's working on a children's CD. 5 songs have been recorded at Osceola Studios. The inimitable Dick Hodgin was workin' the knobs & faders. More on this as it develops.
Kenny continues to work on comedy, having completed 2 classes of standup comedy taught by professional comic, Rog Bates (www.rogbates.com). Rog is hilarious and a class act! Check him out!
The baseball song "Ernie Shore" is available for download at www.lulu.com/shore for $0.99. There's it's been re-titled "Ballad of Ernie Shore" (Kenny's original title for the song) and you can see a very cool photo of Ernie in his Red Sox uniform!
Kenny now gets to the gig in his black 2007 Toyota Prius! He can't say enough about how satisfied he is with the car. If you're on the fence about hybrid technology, he highly recommends you test drive a Prius. Cut your CO2 emissions!
