KENNY SHORE
Americana - Roots - Singer-Songwriter
Kenny Shore is a North Carolina-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has been performing along the East Coast for 30+ years. With songs crafted from lived in, gritty, honest storytelling, Kenny creates an Americana sound that lives at the intersection of folk, country, and roots rock.
His latest full-length release, Happiness & Misery, captures this sound with an all-star cast behind him featuring Robert Sledge (Ben Folds Five), Will McFarlane (Muscle Shoals session legend, Bonnie Raitt), Joseph Terrell (Mipso), Andrew Marlin (Watchhouse), and Joe MacPhail (Oblations, SunSp.t). The material takes you on a musical journey drawing inspiration from his own life, from his former career as a psychotherapist, to dealing with the loss of his wife to cancer in 2017, and all points in between.
Kenny is now performing these songs live, along material from his previous releases, both solo and with The Kenny Shore Band.
